Should I Just Title These Posts GA: Day _?
LOL – It’s Glam Addict’s pic-a-day! So today I wanted to shoot her in color, but again, she just draws me back to black. At least I mixed it up today though. AND I got my 2 new raihing backdrops last night so I used one for the shoot today. When I ordered this time I asked them to size it down by 25% as they tend to be more sized to 16″ dolls. They happily did it for me and I’m pleased with the result. I probably could even go 30% depending on what’s in the backdrop.
Anyway, I thought I’d use the green dress that Elisa made for me and pair it with my JennyGrey jacket and a mix of accessories. I threw the pink Barbie purse in for a pop of color (plus it’s in the earrings/bracelet). I really like her against this backdrop. It photographs nicely because it’s pretty light & white but has just enough in it to make it interesting.
Hopefully tomorrow I can shoot the other backdrop for you. I have SF Eugie in the wings for that shoot. The hubby was sweet and took off work tomorrow to spend the day with me since it was the day I was supposed to take my board exam but now have to wait until August. He’s too sweet and wants to keep my mind off missing that. (insert collective “awwwww” now)

YES! I knew she’d look great in this green! I love the pink purse, too. Perfect touch. Nice backdrop! I haven’t tried having any reduced, but I think your idea is a good one. There’s so much detail in them I hate to zoom in and lose all of it. Your pictures are perfect (as usual)!

I agree with the rest. Good job on choosing this shade of green. You’re right, the backdrop could be even a bit more reduced, but it looks awesome when you don’t stare at it (besides who would when you have such a beauty in front of it
). And I really like pink against that green!!!
Yeah, I’m almost thinking I could go down by 40%? Maybe 35%? I’ll have to think about it. The other one I’ll shoot tomorrow so I’ll see…
I noticed you already have a countdown going for the FR convention and we can’t even register yet. It made me smile and happy to know I’m not the only one looking forward to it.
I know!! I was jut thinking today about what the theme would be? would they do the DG studio again? what will the costume theme be?
I thought last year was it for DG studio, but I’m sure there will be something new and exciting in its place. I do need to rub JennFL for luck if they do another treasure hunt, but even if I found an item I would probably pick the tiki like you did! LOL.
