Iplehouse Elemental Guardian: Bianca, Cyborg or Human?

So this is the Season 2 release of the Elemental Guardians line from Iplehouse.  I have to applaud them for going in a whole new direction, it’s very intriguing to me!  So today’s release is for Bianca, who is YID sized (60cm/24in).  She’s a new face sculpt and I must say I love her smattering of freckles and hope to see that on more dolls.  For ordering info and more pics, click HERE.  Her story goes like this…

Bianca was born to a poor family in Ignitica.  She lost her father at age 12 and got a job as a maid for a noble family.  She spent most of her money supporting her mother and siblings.  As Bianca grew older she became more and more beautiful and one day she was devastated by the eldest son.  The abuse grew worse and eventually she decided to escape the house.  After starving for a few days she saw an ad looking for maid help.  After a weird interview she fainted after drinking a weird beverage offered by the interviewer.  She awoke in an old castle and she began working there as a maid. She began to investigate the rest of this odd old castle and one day she got in danger and they mistook her for a spy.  She managed to escape, but not before the general took notice of her.  He recommended that she become a staff officer.  She excelled as a staff officer in Melkayjer and rose in position there.  People began to get jealous of her.  One day the captain declared war on Mystria and Bianca was dispatched as a spy.  She was almost killed there…and…

Her body was twisted and her face distorted.  Her bosses transferred her to the Island of Death before she died.  After a series of surgeries Bianca became Melkayjer’s first female cyborg.  With her new steel body Bianca became the strongest warrior in Melkayjer and devastated Solaris’ sky castle and the earth and sky turned to black.   One day there was a momentary lull in fighting and Bianca deserted her troop without telling anyone. What will be waiting for Bianca in the future?

As you can see below she has 2 airbrushed cyborg options.  Each has a different faceup, and you can get the new shiny metal cyborg version or the battleworn one that includes body scars and scuffed up metal parts..  I really think this is kind of cool!

She is really cool — so how does it work? Wigs, different clothes, and a body that has alternate pieces to snap on to create the cyborg version?

Well you either buy the cyborg or human version. The cyborg version has 2 options of airbrushing though.

Ahhh, I get it. So basically three different dolls to get all these looks. I’m glad IT doesnt do that –I’d be even more broke than I am now!

Incredible… The second option of the cyborg reminds me of Mike’s toys with that “dirty steel”. Totally awesome… But I’m wondering what would I do with that… A few photo shoots and what? Maybe create stories, or videos from merged images…

These are amazing. But who buys these? They are prohibitively expensive.

While I’ve always admired Iplehouse dolls (such works of art!), I’ve never really wanted one as bad as Bianca (both versions)….she’s AMAZING! I really like their Western inspired set too, but this doll is simply the best I’ve seen yet!

Soooo awesome, yet soooo can’t afford. It would be cool if IT did this kind of thing…. hint hint.

Interesting, but so not my thing. Would make an interesting comic or something. But reading the “story” cracks me up- and I’m sure it’s a translation thing- but it reminds me of that Seinfeld episode with the Yada yada yada. It’s like something happened, she got in danger, yada yada yada, she’s working for a general now. LOL
    Just found it amusing.

LOL – yes it’s definitely transalation. I even cleaned it up a bit for here!

Wow! It’s amazing work of art … although I have a problem with her sweet childish face and extreme womanly body. I mean – she looks even younger than my seven years old daughter and have boobs ?!? It looks a bit strange to me.
