Top 5 of 2012 (Integrity)
So I was tagged on flickr to post my top 5 dolls of 2012 and after checking my shelves out, I realized I kept less this year than in any previous year. I guess that’s a good and a bad thing, LOL. Good for my wallet and shelf space, but bad because I always want to keep more dolls than I actually end up keeping. For me I get them, enjoy them for their first or maybe 2nd shoot and then if the redressing options aren’t there or I’m just not feeling her from behind the lens, then she better get to steppin’.
This just happened to me with the new Giselle. I spent almost an hour photographing her and she just doesn’t have the attitude that Giselle is known for. She’s too tame of a version for me and so we’re parting ways. Again it happened with the new twins – Eden far surpassed Lilith in the set and it made it an unequal pairing and I need pairs of those girls, so they both had to go. Plus when I put them on the shelf with my other 2 sets of twins they just didn’t stand a chance. I loved them individually, but not together and not with my other sets. Oh well, at least my Jem dolls gave me that excitement to end the year on!
These top 5 girls have stuck it out through numerous redressings and photoshoots because I’m completely loving them in all ways. So here we go… in order from 1 to 5, and the honorable mention (who is not pictured) goes to Force of Nature Agnes.

I originally planned to buy less this year. But somehow I think this is one of the bigger years for me.
I LOVE the new Eden- and I don’t keep them as sets. In fact, I’ve let Lilith go every time. I now only have one Lilith (well two if you count the one that I’m about to get rid of)
I think your top 5 are good choices! I have all of them except that Giselle, who for some reason I didn’t like. I didn’t even try for her and I don’t know why. I love Giselle.
Now I want to go back and see my top five of the year. This may take some time! LOL

That rayna came on a bride of dracula body. Normally I switch them to NuFace but I kind of like it too!
I love your top 5!! I bought a little less in 2012, but not as I should LOL. In 2013 I hope I’ll focus more on older dolls that I really want, and clothes and accessories for my girls than in new dolls… But I can’t say that yet. It all depends on IT. Guess we’ll know pretty soon!
It’s a pity you didn’t like the twins so much… Mine are still on the way home… It’s a slow journey to Brazil…

good idea for 2013. I’m kind of hoping I like less that they put out so I can get some older ones I want too.
