Shuga shoots Tess-Creations
So… Tess of Tess-Creations contacted me several weeks back to ask if she could send me some of her fashions to critique and photograph. I’ve done this in the past for other fashion creators, so of course I said yes! I had seen her work before on other people’s dolls and her website, but hadn’t had the chance to see them in person. Well, quite a few mix and match pieces arrived last week and so I’ve been working to style and shoot them on my dolls.
I’ve sent her a very detailed critique on all her items, which is what I promised her, and today I’m sharing with you the pics of her items. Everything you see in the pics is made by her other than the shoes I used on my models. She made the outfits, the jewelry, the bags and the boots. I have to say I was impressed with her work and especially her creativity in some of the pieces. Not just the creativity in the style choice but also in the construction of some of the items.
Tess also creates 16″ fashions (I’m sooo getting Tulabelle some stuff from her!!) as well as 12″ fashions and even some amazing work for Silkstones. Her website is HERE and you can check out all her other work. Her contact information is there as well if you see something you like. I believe the fashions you see below are in a new collection she is releasing and of course I mixed and matched so how she sells the sets may be different. I also bought a few pieces below that I couldn’t say no too, LOL.
So thank you so much Tess for allowing me to shoot your work and I hope my critique is helpful!

It absolutely amazes me how far doll fashions have come….if it were a close up of the clothes only, I would think they were “real” human sized fashions. The detailing is beautiful! The dark purple number is my favorite (love the 80′s flare….Jem/Jerrica or Synergy would look fab in this as well)…along with the white handbag…it looks “real”! Great pics, Shug!
Ack! I should’ve had Jerrica model that outfit!!! Good call!
Thanks for sharing Tess Creations with all of us. Great work. I have followed her on Ebay for a while. Love the fashions she creates.
Glad you enjoyed the shoot Ruth!
I love it!
