I just had to freak out and fangirl here a moment. Y’all know I’m a HUGE fan of The Walking Dead and look forward to the panel & booth at ComicCon. Well, this year they’ve gone craaaaazy! They setup a whole escape course at Petco Park which is right next to ComicCon this year. You can pay to go through the course, pay to become made up and work as a walker or just pay to be a spectator. My hubby woke me up early this morning freaking out about it. So we got a email late Sunday night that SDCC would be doing some more resales of badges from the fiasco that happened the first time. This time they were limiting it to people who were unable to purchase Saturday badges last time (that was me!) to kind of give them a chance because of the problems with a link the first time. I was up and ready on the computer with my link setup in a tab and ready to be refreshed! The clock struck 8:00am and I hit that sucker. Spinning wheel, why do you torture me so? So this morning ComicCon tickets went on sale. Should I even go on about the fiasco that ensued at 8am PST? Well, this year was different because you had to register for a member ID prior to Feb 28th to even buy any tickets. Check – did that! Then we got a private email yesterday with the link to purchase tickets today at 8am. Check – got that! So I’m online clicking the link just prior to 8am and boom! 8am hits and my browser thingie is circling and circling and nothing is coming up. Then I get the 404 error! Crap! Well, I must say that staying an extra day was really nice. I didn’t have to rush to pack on Saturday after the final event and then get up early to head to the airport. Instead, yesterday a group of us went to the city and wandered around for the day. Then even today we had the time to have breakfast before packing and our flight isn’t even for another 5 hours. The packing is a little stressful, as those of you that attend convention know, because you’re thinking everything will fit and then your suitcase fills up quicker than you imagined as you look at your pile of boxes that are still left to pack. Hi again everyone! Just doing another quick post with this morning/afternoon’s updates and then trying to squeeze in an hour nap before dinner, LOL, we’ll see if it really happens. Well this morning I picked up my Auden workshop doll for the flocking class. I guess I misunderstood the information, because I thought we were getting a bald head that we would be able to choose our flocking for. But instead we all got Auden’s that were already flocked. Well it’s 12:40am so I’ll keep this brief & to the point cuz I gotta get up for workshops & WClub luncheon tomorrow! Yikes! So another great evening and I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CENTERPIECE ERIN!!! So I’m VERY happy I won her! Another fab doll in the color infusion line! I got called onstage for the treasure hunt game and i went 4th and had the Criminally Chic giftset in my hand and 2 boxes onstage that had not been called yet. I went for #1 and it was a zonk!
