Examples that you might use(but you are not limited to these designers) would be Valentino to Valentina (Versace), Givenchy to Galliano, (Vivienne) Westwood to (Jason) Wu, (Alexander) McQueen to (Stella) McCartney… The design houses should be on different ends of the fashion spectrum so that it is a true fashion mash-up! So I got to chatting with Heather the last day or so, a blogger who runs The Majokko Shop about some super cute knitted hats for dolls. She was an entrant in the scarf giveaway and sent me an adorable pic of her Pure Neemo doll with her scarf. Well she just did a blog post on some knit hats that she purchases for her dolls by One Sixth Sense (OSS Etsy shop HERE). Heather’s post is HERE where you can check out her cute pics of the hats plus a FREE SHIPPING coupon if you order anything from OSS. Below are a few of the hats/accessories available. We were discussing how perfect the “cutesy” ones would be for Misaki as well as any Pure...

In the ongoing Couture Doll Design Challenge, challenge #2 entries are in! This is the “Angry like a Bird” challenge in which entrants had to submit a design based on a video game. You can check out all the entries HERE, but I’m posting my personal favorites here. I’ll post winners when they are announced! Okay, I have to admit my favs are picked because of the games that were chosen for inspiration. We play alot of PS3 here at the house so I’m really partial to these games and I think the fashion captures the feel of those games. Based on the game HITMAN (I think honestly I’m partial to this one because I had dated a pretty hot guy in my 20′s who wore this as a...
Read MoreMarch Purse of the Month
Yay! I skipped out on last month’s purse because I only liked the red one and I have my red bow bag by them already, but this month’s purse is a must have for me! At least in reptile it is, LOL. Our designer for March is Ralph Lauren. I love how he continues to re-invent his most famous purse – the Ricky bag. When I saw that he had condensed it and added chain handles, I marveled at the great new look that still harks to the original. I’ve recreated this bag in miniature in 2 options – Reptile print leather on black suede, and Pewter leather on pale grey. Both are lovely, and each features the classic Ricky bag detailing, with oodles of silver accents. 32.00 each + shipping. (3.50 in...
