SDCC 3A Exclusives

So for fun I thought I’d share with you all some toys that my hubby LOVES. (Maybe that’s why he’s so accepting of my doll collecting, LOL, because he’s a toy-lover too!) So, he’s a fan of Ashley Wood’s art and ThreeA toys.   He’s SUPER excited to hear that Ashley will be at ComicCon with several exclusives this year.  He’s only going to be attending on Saturday, but I know he’ll wait in line for a couple of hours to be first to pick up some exclusives.  ThreeA toys are all 1/6th scale with several lines.  WWR (World War Robot) WWRp (World War Robot Portable) and Popbots are his favorites.  (Ashley Wood has a graphic novel titled “World War Robot”...

Braaaaaaaains….

Well, this wonderful Dunny arrived today!  He is a gift from one of my shipping buddies/dolly friends (thank you sooooo much!), and I’m so excited to get this one!  He’s part of the newest collection and is a special one designed by KidRobot veteran Huck Gee.  KidRobot usually has a booth at ComicCon, so hopefully I’ll be able to pick up some new toys while I’m there.  Last year I just bought blanks for my hubby to design/paint so this year I’m treating myself to 1 toy from the booth! Tokidoki Unicorns

So I succumbed to the cuteness of these Tokidoki Unicorns.  I bought 3 blind boxes and now I feel like I need a few more, LOL. I love blind boxes because you don’t know what you’ll get, so the surprise of it all is lots of fun!  So today I got Pogo, the rockin’ one, complete with mohawk, bandaid and skull -n- crossbones.  Then I let my hubby open one up and (appropriately) he got Ritmo.  He’s the little Rasta one complete with dreads and even a record on his body.  My hubby about died, he’s  into reggae and used to spin Drum and Bass when he DJ’ed in his 20′s, so I may let him keep this one on his desk at work.  Then I opened up Peperino, she’s a cute little hot...

Got Zombies?

So I’m up late scouring the web for news from Toy Fair currently taking place in NYC.  In particular I was hoping to see if the rumors about a new character being unveiled in the Monster High line are true or not, but no news yet regarding that line.  Hopefully tomorrow.  As most of you know, I’m a big comic book fan, so I enjoy seeing all the action figures and such that are being revealed at Toy Fair and I just stumbled across some Walking Dead figures. I love my zombies almost as much as I love my comic book characters, LOL, and I was a total fanatic over the AMC series this past fall, The Walking Dead.  So I was really pleased to see that McFarlane’s taking on this franchise in figurines!...
