Eternally Yours, Evangeline

Eternally Yours, Evangeline

So I spent a “me” day today getting caught up on TV shows that I was a few episodes behind on as my truck is in the shop and I couldn’t go anywhere (i.e. check every Target/Wal-Mart in the area for MH dolls/fashions).  So I watched The Bachelor because for some crazy reason I enjoy watching laughing at that show.Actually, what I love is to read THIS WOMAN’s recaps of each episode – freakin’ hilarious.   And can I just say OMG to Gossip Girl! I just finished watching the last episode and I think I replayed the ending like 20 times – yes, seriously.  I  ♥ Dan & Blair… Geez, it totally reminds me of how much I ♥ Seth & Summer from The O.C.  Please tell me...

Lizette, Ello’s New Friend

Lizette, Ello’s New Friend

I just saw that Ellowyne is getting a new friend!  Her name is Lizette and her bio is:  I had a nice life in New Orleans and I really didn’t want to go anywhere. Julian (my dad) got a job in San Francisco so we had to move. Thinking back, I guess I didn’t respond well and I made the whole change more difficult for my parents – but I was comfortable in New Orleans. I knew the city. I mean, I had lived there my whole life. I had friends. Well, maybe more acquaintances than friends. But I got along. Plus, I like hot weather and it seems like it’s always raining in SF. But I guess all this makes me sound like I’m whining… Wilde Imagination is also running a special on her with free...

Ms. Marvel

Ms. Marvel

Well, I love to check out all the comic book characters that Tonner makes even though I haven’t bought any, LOL.  Today they have put up Ms. Marvel!  It was fun to see her because she’s not a character I think about very often although she appeared through many Marvel comics.  She paired up with Nick Fury for awhile, then fought alongside Logan against Sabretooth, joined the Avengers for a short period and even fought Mystique while on the X-Men team.  Eventually she met Capt. Marvel whom she fell in love with and many other crazy things ensued.  I could go on, but I think my “geek” is showing, LOL. There is also an Asian doll and a Cami outfit that was just put up as well.  If...

Tonner Doll Company reveals that they will be offering DARK PHOENIX as their San Diego Comic-Con 2011 exclusive. The fiery superheroine marks the third release in Tonner’s all-new Marvel Tonner Character Figure assortment, their first two figures being Captain America and Scarlet Witch, which both quickly sold out upon their debut at the Tonner Convention in May. “I found the inner conflict inside of Jean Grey captivating, and so naturally, her evil counterpart Dark Phoenix was high on my list of Marvel characters to make,” commented Robert Tonner, CEO and doll artist. In keeping with the fine detail and quality of Tonner’s other product lines, Dark Phoenix will boast hand-painted facial...

Wilde Imagination: Spring 2011

Wilde Imagination: Spring 2011

I got the email yesterday with the new online catalog for Wilde Imagination check it out here:     http://www.wildeimagination.com/skins/skin_2/documents/spring2011_catalog.pdf) I’m always tempted by Ellowyne, but don’t think I’ll add another one to my collection anytime soon.  I think it’s the clothing that really draws me in, LOL, and this Spring line is no exception!  I really loved “Am I Blue?” and “Combating Fatigue”.  I’m still partial to the inset eye wigged Ello’s, so that’s probably the reason I’m not getting another one yet.  That and the fact that I just cannot start another line, LOL.  Maybe next year… Of course the...
