Pullip Pause
Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve done some redressing, as I’ve been in somewhat of a “funk” and haven’t been inspired to pull anyone out. Then the IT Convention info came out and emails having been flying fast & furiously and I must say I’m excited again and am officially out of my funk. So I thought before I start in on the twins I’d pause for a Pullip intermission. I’ve wanted to try on some PP and NF outfits on them so today I went for B&W. Well, my newest Pullip arrived today (Xiao Fan) but I’m still waiting on her new body and wig, so I will wait to share pics of her. Okay, so I’ve been on the Pullip forums the past few weeks and it seems that everyone renames their dolls once they rebody & rewig them the way that BJD-ers do. So henceforth (never thought I’d ever use that word, LOL – watch out Elisa, that might show up in our scrabble game!) Akoya will be referred to as… EMMA! EDIT::: I just got my shipping notice for Vero!!! She’ll arrive on Monday! I guess that means I won’t be going to my night class, LOL, and instead I’ll be rushing home to take pics of her after I get out of clinic at 5pm!! So it seems that the Modern Comeback Veronique’s are shipping out! I still haven’t gotten a shipping notice, but that doesn’t mean that she can’t just show up at my door any day now. Akoya is completed! yay! So I was up until about 11pm last night switching out her body to the new Obitsu soft body and it was surprisingly simple to do! I followed a tutorial, but did it a little differently which made it easier. If anyone wants info on how to do that, post a comment. Then I reassembled the body back onto the head and voila! a new Akoya with TONS more poseability. I even got an extra set of hand for $4 with grip hands, pointing finger hands, etc. so she can do all sorts of fun stuff now. The final piece was her new Leekeworld wig, which I though wasn’t going to fit for about 2 minutes, LOL. I stretched it out and worked at pulling it over and its sheer perfection! Okay, the best...

Okay, I’m sooo in love with this doll!!! This is bad – like Lalaloopsy bad… Yeah, this will NOT be the only Pullip on my shelves. Okay, so now onto her utter cuteness! Love the little ninja outfit, ninja sword and her tabi shoes, great purple and pink wig and she’s even got a dragon tattoo on her arm. Her poseability pretty good, but I already have an Obitsu body on its way for her- yay! She will be rebodied fairly quickly, oh wait… I’ll lose that cute little tattoo.
