My Clear Lan jackets arrived! I had supreme willpower when I placed the order and only got my 2 favorite jackets plus 2 scarves. Now that they’re here I want to order more, LOL But I’ll hold off until another time because I want to order more backdrops first. So when I look at Dani I usually just see a kind of hard, rocker girl so it was a struggle to put her in a softer look to bring out her sweet side. So today I got to pull out ILHYLM Poppy (doesn’t she have the loooongest name?!) and redress her in 2 new pieces from ClearLan. I used the striped top, which has extra long sleeves and the little folded hem jean capris. So cute! The necklace is a gift from convention and the sneakers are of course Poppy’s. Well, I finally did it. I broke down after a few months of trying to find an extra TGB Poppy at a decent price. Well, to be honest, I don’t have the money to be spending on a 2nd TGB, LOL, but I looked anyway. So this morning I bit the bullet and took down her hair and modernized her. I think it’s my M.O. with my dolls. Must. Take. Hair. Down. Must. Modernize. This. Doll. What can I say? It was inevitable… So I gave her the boil treatment this morning and trimmed up the uneven ends. TGB has one of my favorite screenings after Bergdorf.
