I know, I know…. this is alot of redressing for one day, LOL. I told you I’m making up for next week in advance! First up – I swapped Ayumi’s dress onto the IFDC Rayna/Dorothy doll. I have to admit that I am copying someone else who did this. I saw their fab pics and saw how great that dress looked with Rayna’s coloring and therefore I had to do it myself. So I got a new laptop yesterday and this is the first time I had to use the preinstalled picture gallery program. I think I liked my old one, LOL, where I could just quickly adjust white balance or saturation, crop it and then move on to the next pic. Today’s shots took about 30 minutes to adjust as I tried to figure out the program. Ugh. I couldn’t find the zoom in tool either – it was a little irritating to say the least. Well I think I got the pics looking nice and I hope they aren’t too dark. I can already tell my screen settings are different just when I look at my old pics on flickr. Why does every computer have to be so different? Maybe because my new one is running Windows 7...

Ahh… I think the Rayna mold is a new “love” for me… up there with Giselle & Eugenia. Maybe it’s the Poppy-ish lips? who knows, either way she’s gorgeous. I loved the pale one from IFDC and was probably looking forward to seeing her the most at convention. Now after her hair has been restyled by Deron I’m in love with her even more. Well, it’s a “red” day here in Shug’s doll room. I got a Target gift card yesterday so today I went there planning to spend it in the doll aisles. I get inside the door and look around and notice that they are in the middle of changing the entire store around. Super frustrating trying to find where they moved the toys, sheets of plastic hanging from the ceiling everywhere. I had originally planned to shoot my new Misaki (Good Morning) and to redress my SF Eugenia in the new PetraElise fashion I purchased, but Go Home just calls out to me. So everything was pushed aside while I played with her again today. Yeah, I haven’t been this enamored with a doll since I got into Giselle (after a year of being in love with Eugenia). I’m happy she’s a different look than Giselle too because I love the NF characters but the only other ones I collect are the twins. So I’m pleased to be adding this fab girl to my collection. I don’t know if you’re ready for her! So I knew I wanted the Dorothy/Rayna doll as soon as I saw her! I loooove that face and was excited that I didn’t have to wait until convention to see her. I don’t know if most of you know or not, but I was only able to go to IFDC as a sub for someone, so the dolls all went to my sponsor. (A big thank you to S. for allowing me to attend!!) So someone was going around during dinner with an extra ticket for the Good Witch/Isha, so I asked to take it. I figured I’d just buy her and hopefully be able to swap with someone.
